The economy will eventually come back but none of us know when that will be. So in the interim, why not not start today improving your skills by training online in whatever field you choose.
I have always said, “pick something you love to do and you will never work a day in your life”. It has worked for me over the past 10 years and I hope it works for you.
There are a gazillion online schools that can train you in just about any field you can image. The advantage of training online is that you can schedule your classes so that it does not interfere with your daily routine and you can be ready when this economy does take a permanent upturn. I have been a full-time home based recruiter for over 10 years and believe me when I tell you that this last year has been very difficult for our industry.
So rather than sit around and wait for the economy to bounce back, I decided to brush up on my skills in areas I have a passion for which includes internet marketing, website design, SEO and affiliate marketing.
Hopefully when the recruiting business picks back up, everything I have learned from online study programs will help me in my recruiting business. I was also able to launch a couple of new websites over the last few months and will continue to start up probably about 5-10 more.
The internet and all that it has to offer is still fascinating to me and I am addicted to pursuing new opportunities everyday.
